This monocular comes with several different accessories. It has a carrying case with a loop on the back, so it can be attached to your belt. This helps keep both hands free when not using it. It also comes with a tripod, and an attachment that allows you to put your phone on the viewing end of the monocular. That way you can use your phone's camera to take pictures, and record video of the object you are using the monocular to see. The tripod has adjustable legs. It also comes with two different carrying straps that can attach right to the monocular itself. This is excellent for viewing during the day, but it is not very useful at night, or in dark water. There is no mechanical light on this monocular. So the only way to view something clearly is to do so when there is sufficient enough light. It also comes with a dust cap on each end, which helps to reduce risk of scratching the lenses.
We use it for bird watching in the backyard. The tripod works OK, although a little unsteady. The smart phone attachment is not secure enough to be steady and therefore does not get a good picture. Good price for the monocular. Not recommended for the tripod and smart phone attachment.
Awesome. Clear and easy to focus. Better then others I've tried. This one actually works and adjustment is easy and optic is sharp and clear.
The plastic attachment for your phone is horrible. It is not stable and does not hold the phone well. Trying to get it to line up with an iPhone 14 Pro Max was just about impossible. It provides a decent zoom, but I will end up using this as a monocular instead of a telescopic zoom for my phone to take pictures.
I recently went up to Yosemite up in California and took this bad boy with me. This was a lot of fun, the Monocular is kind of a beast, and a bit heavy after a while. It has a lens cover on both ends to keep dust from getting on it. You have a focus knob on the top of the monocular to help place what you are at. This also comes with a tripod so you can take still zoomed in photos of trees mountains or animals. The zoom power of the monocular is 12x50. So, you can see items up close but obviously not miles away. This is also water resistant, so don't worry if you run into some rain or anything, you will be ok with this getting wet. I like it and has fun with it.
The device is very clear and zooms in really good and clear. The con is with the phone holder. It is hard to get the phone to stay in the right position to be able to see with it while holding. It works better if it is on a tripod.
First the things that I liked about this.It comes with a great carry case. Great for portable use. I carry mine in the truck, around the farm. The adjustable eyepiece offers great relief spacing. The magnification and clarity of vision is also excellent. The large front lens gathers a lot of light so that it works well in low light conditions. The use of folded prism reduces the length of the scope to a very comfortable handheld size. The focusing knob is well placed for easy focusing. It has a standard quarter inch tripod mounting screw. It does come with a short, light tripod. It also comes with an accessory mount meant to hold a cell phone. That cell phone is then lined up with the eyepiece and allows you to take telephoto images with your cell phone. Now it's a negative. This handheld scope was nearly ideal. I carry it in my truck where it's very handy because I live in a rural area and there's always interesting things to spot. However I really haven't been able to use the cell phone adapter because my phone has an offset camera lens. The way this adapter works, its supposed to slip onto the eye relief cup. You adjust the phone so that the lens lines up with the eyepiece. In my case when I try and do that the adapter rotates or comes loose. Trying to use the supplied tripod is also awkward. It is too short and light. The tripod mount point is a little bit off center and so the balance does not work well with the light tripod. On the other hand mounted on a regular tripod it does work as expected. I have been able to take some cell phone pictures however it's been awkward. In summary, this is a light weight, bright, compact, quick focusing,10X monocular. Well worth the cost for a hunter or sportsman. The accessories may not add much value depending on how well they match with your cell phone.
This monocular is extremely crisp and clear for the price point. Lightweight, but well made. The inclusions make it an even better value- tripod, case, and phone mount.Even at dusk and near dark the vision is still incredibly clear. A nice find.
This is really good at capturing far shots clearly. Make sure you tighten everything up once you have the settings done as it will loosen and you could lose the place you had it set.
