4x16x50 scope

Arrived in good time and condition everything works good.I tried it on several air rifles, and 22s. i have not tried it on a high powered hunting rifle yet when I do I will update. so far this seems like a good scope for the price but it’s still new time and use will tell how durable it is.I do like that i can use the red dot.on a few other guns if needed.it’s worth a try for the price and it has a lifetime warranty how often do you get that for this price. Thanks

Came on time looks solid haven't had a chance to try it yet but looks like it will work well

Great price for capabilities

Yes it gets fuzzy at top magnification. No you can't roll a truck over it and expect it to survive. I doubt it would be functional if submerged in seawater at 150 ATM, and I'll bet it isn't fog *proof* (room temperature to sub zero with no transition time). It is a perfect inexpensive spotting scope that easily out magnifies the mounted optics you're sighting in, and with a wider FOV, and if you leave it at the range accidentally, you won't be materially impacted.I haven't used the camera mounts or tripod, but mine came with a case.

Ordinaire

Je m'attendais à mieux que çaJ'avais pas remarque qu'il avait un petit défaut a l'intérieur sur une des lentilles mais fait la job

Really nice

I have read the previous reviews about being gentle placing it on the tripod. And it really works great and my kids love them.

Looks good, feels good, the stand is.... worthless

There is some sort of a press-fit brass fitting pressed into the bottom of the scope that the stand screws into. It came out the first time I tried to put the scope on the stand. I screwed it in until I felt it get snug and in the process of turning it over and putting it on the table it fell off. The press-fit brassy thing had so little resistance that it just slid in and out. I'm certain I could put some JB Weld, or epoxy in there, but it was the first time I used it. I shouldn't need to. Needless to say I was not able to use it to site in my rifle, I had to use another rifle scope. My Mossberg 6.5 Creedmoor was on sandbags. When it fired, it shook the table and the scope wobbles so the person trying to see where it hit loses the site picture. I need to check and see if I can return it.

Très bon qualité d'image et bon tripode (inclus)

J'avais une autre similaire, et ce nouveau monoculaire a une meilleur qualité d'image aussi le mini tripode est plus ajustable verticallement pour la nivelation du terrain.

Worked Great Until It Didn't

I used this monocular to watch birds for a little over a year until the adjustment mechanism broke off in my hand. Lasted just long enough to for the warranty to expire. I guess you get what you pay for. Don't waste your money.

Not what we hoped

It's nice but you can't even screw the stand into it witch defeats the purpose

Structurally - poor quality, but decent picture

Mounting nut for attaching tripod is glued into the rubber shell of the scope. Broke off right away. This scope is only good for handheld operation. To be fare, it's worth mentioning that picture quality and zoom are decent, thus 3 stars.

The tripod pin will not stay in the device.

I don't trust it holding my phone on the tripod. The pin that you screw the tripod to the camera will not stay in the camera.

Like a binocular, but just one

This is a pretty solid monocular, and is nice for spotting things that you're watching from a distance. It's obviously a little less useful than binoculars, but also roughly half the weight. Other than that, it works a lot like a pair of binoculars split in half. The build is good, as is the glass. It's fairly easy to use once you get a feel for it. Overall, a nice monocular to have around.

It's Ok

Took it back. SorryGot quality scope. Happy now. Get what you paid for. This is a good little portable scope. Not for my needs. It is ok. Think about your needs.Amazon Rocks

Great for hikes!

Compact enough to take on hikes to watch wildlife. Isn't super clear at the max magnification but that wasn't a surprise. Comes with accessories and a strap to make holding with one hand easier. Great monocular for the listed price point.

Gift

A really good scope for the money.

Absolutely amazing for the price. Crystal clear, zoomable, and lightweight.

This monocular kit surpassed my expectations. It included the monocular, lens covers, tabletop tripod, phone mount, hand strap, carry case, microfiber lens wipe, and user manual. I've wanted a monocular for a while now. I do a lot of nature walks with my dog, and I often work in the country. I see all kinds of animals and birds out in the fields at work. I'm always saying I need to grab a pair of binoculars or a monocular. I come across them all the time on amazon but shy away from these cheap items after reading some of the bad reviews. I decided to finally order this kit because, unlike most of the others, this monocular can zoom in and out. Once it arrived, I took it out to the street to see how it would perform in the daytime. I hooked it up to the tripod, and when I went to use it, the monocular became loose and fell off the tripod. I realized that the mounting nut was not very secure, so I took it out and added some gorilla glue around the nut. After letting the glue dry, I took it outside again for another daytime test. This time, it was amazing and very secure. I decided to put it on my UBeesie 67" tripod. I could zoom all the way down the dead-end street I was on. I could read signs from over 200 yards away. There are 3 adjustments on the version I ordered. You can adjust the eye socket in and out, adjust the zoom, and finally, the focus. Adjusting everything was super simple. I got a picture of some guys in a truck that were over 100 yards away and moving. I could see their faces clear as day. I did have a little trouble getting pictures with my phone. The mount worked well, but my phone was an issue. My phone has 5 cameras on it. Every time I tried to get my phone to focus, it would switch to another camera. There might be a setting in the camera app that allows you to force a single camera, but I didn't look for it. The pictures I managed to get do no justice for the monocular. All of my photos came out blurry, but in person, everything is crystal clear. Although my phone was giving me issues, I managed to get a couple of blurry pictures and a short video. This leads me to my next test. I took it out at night to see if it would be usable. It worked a lot better than I thought it would in low light situations. I called one of my neighbors and had him turn on his inside light. He lives about 2 city blocks away. I was able to zoom right up to his window. He gave me a few different hand gestures and asked me how many fingers he was holding up. I told him and we couldn't believe it. As long as there is light in the area you want to see, it will work at night. There was a car parked under a street light about 80 yards away, and I could zoom in and clearly see their license plate number just from the street light. I figured since I had it all set up, I would try looking at the moon. I really didn't expect much because this is a little cheap monocular and not a telescope. When I first aimed it at the moon, it was just a blurry white dot. After adjusting the zoom and focus, I was blown away. You can actually see the moon clearly. You can see the craters and everything. Although my phone gave me a tough time and blurry pictures, I was able to get a quick video of the moon through this monocular that came out decent. If you want a cheap monocular, this is the one to get. The ability to zoom in and out is a huge advantage over some of the others. Like I said, the pictures and video are blurry and don't do any justice. In person it is amazing, especially for the price. It's so nice that I'm not even deducting a star for the mounting nut being loose. It's still worth 5 stars even after using the super glue.

Junk

Absolutely disappointed. Found better quality at the dollar store .

Inexpensive Monocular

I saw ads for a device like this that must have had a 5-1000 zoom that could see a gnats *ss at a mile and a half. Right! it looked phony. So when I received this monocular, I tried to zoom out as far as possible and was disappointed that I couldn't see any gnats *ss at 100 feet. The 10 to 30 power is somewhat more powerful than most binoculars. I find that at a maximum magnification, the image is difficult to center and eye placement is crucial for a good view. The finish looks fine with no abnormalities, smooth to the touch, and easy to use.The image quality is appropriate for this price range.Likes- ease of use, simplicity, Tripod, and case.Dislikes- Difficulty in image centering when at maximum magnification, less than crystal clear imageRecommend - if you need an inexpensive monocular this may be it. But it isn't a Zeiss.

Starscope

Better than large telescope

Pretty good

This is a pretty good unit. It has a good range of sight. The ability to focus is there and good. It's pretty lightweight. The mounting pieces are helpful. The little tri-pod is a little small for what I will use this for, but I have another tall tri-pod that I can mount this to. Fun to spot wild life with this!

Excellent

Excellent for the price.I've tested maybe a dozen monoculars over the past few years, most of them priced in the hundreds of dollars, so I was curious to see how a sub-$40 device would stack up against the pricier competition. The answer? Well, not that bad at all. The build quality of this scope feel just fine. A little plasticky, maybe, but not cheap. The focus knob turns pretty smoothly, and the image quality is just fine. Of course it's not as good as the image you'll get from a high end scope with precision optics, but for less than $40 it's crisp and clear enough to pass muster. The accessories are a little meh, but at this price I'm not going to complain. All in all this is a solid monocular at a great price.

Not super easy phone set up...

Overall, the use of this is really easy. I got it to watch deer from my back porch into the field beyond. It has a nice clear lens, and the 'zoom in/out' is really just focus adjustment? The most difficult part of using it is trying to set up the phone attachment - takes a good 15 mins...

Affordable,high powered monocular

For the price, its not a bad monocular at all.It has a nice, clear and sharp image up until 20x zoom. From there to 30x it is not the clearest but, this is expected with high magnification, zoom lenses and is also the case with other, much higher priced monoculars, binoculars and telescope eyepieces. The higher the zoom, the less sharp and smaller focus range. You can however find that sweet spot of sharpness at max zoom if you try.It is fairly well made and also looks nice.It comes with a carry bag, tripod, phone mount and cleaning cloth. Now,these accessories are fairly cheap quality and limited use but,for the price tag of the monocular and getting these included, its hard to complain given the fact the monocular works well and so do the accessories if you wish to use them.It has an adjustable eyepiece to accommodate people with or without glasses. This monocular also works OK at night for stargazing. My one real issue is the focus wheel doesn't feel smooth enough or easy to reach. It works well enough but,its not effortless and can feel like you are trying to stretch your finger too much.Though this can be avoided by using your other hand to adjust the focus.Other than that,I am pretty happy with this. This monocular is a good beginner piece at an affordable price. If you want something for hikes, camping, bird watching etc, this will do the job just fine and it's only $30.
